9  The Assessment Process

There are four main methods of assessment used in this course:

1. Teaching Journal (to be completed for every placement day), (may include descriptions of planning and delivery of special projects) – 25%
2. An end of course report (including descriptions of planning and delivery of special projects) – 40%
3. An oral presentation given at the end of the course (15 minutes) –2 5%
4. An end of course report by the teacher on the your overall progress (1 page of rated criteria + short summary, moderated by university course tutor) – 10%
